The Technology Department at the Lincoln Public Schools consists of two groups who work to support the technology needs of our students and staff. Four Instructional Technology Specialists (ITS) provide direct instruction to students in digital literacy, computer science, online safety, and digital citizenship, work with teachers to integrate technology into their core subjects and provide professional development to staff to support the use of technology in their teaching. The IT group has four staff members who provide technology support to our school community, and are responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure, communication systems, end point devices including laptops and tablets, cybersecurity, and software systems that are used for both administrative and educational purposes.
