• Volunteering
The Lincoln Public Schools welcomes and encourages volunteers in our schools. Parents and members of the community often volunteer to assist teachers in their classrooms or to support the school by volunteering, for example, in the Library/Media Center, or the Main Office. Often volunteers have specific skills which enrich the learning experiences of our students, however this is not necessary and all support is appreciated.

Volunteers who may have unsupervised contact with students are required to complete a Criminal Offender Records review prior to beginning their volunteer work. The Lincoln School Committee has a policy describing this requirement. CORI permission forms are available at the Main Office of each school as well as at the Superintendent’s Office. A government issued form of picture identification is required at the time you complete the form giving the district permission to review your CORI record.

All CORI information is held in complete confidence.
