• Benefits

There are many benefits to teaching in the Lincoln Public Schools.  Teachers and students enjoy small classes, the support of instructional assistants and collaboration with highly trained special education teachers and related service providers.

Employees receive compensation that is competitive with other districts in the Boston area and a package of benefits that includes health insurance, optional dental insurance, sick and personal days and, for full-year employees, vacation days.

The faculty is supported by an extensive professional development program which includes support for participation in conferences, graduate tuition reimbursement and compensated curriculum development time.

Teachers new to the district are assigned mentor teachers to support their entry into the field or, in the case of experienced teachers, entry to the Lincoln community.

All classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and teachers are issued portable computers for their planning, teaching and communications.  Each school has several fully equipped computer labs and all classrooms have interactive projectors or white boards.
