Personal Bio
I have been teaching and coaching at Lincoln Middle School since 2002. Over the years here, I have coached cross-country, baseball, softball and soccer. I find that athletics is an important outlet for me; it provides me the motivation to stay fit. As a result, I feel more prepared to embrace various adventures in life…like when my son declared that we were going to tackle the 48 4000’ peaks in New Hampshire before he graduates high school. I genuinely believe that life is better when we are moving our bodies.
Athletic Director Philosophy
My philosophy of middle school athletics is rooted in a fundamental understanding of adolescent development: Engagement is the pathway to holistic success. Research consistently demonstrates that students who are actively integrated into their school communities—whether through the arts, clubs, or athletics—report higher scores across the most significant social-emotional standards. While these benefits are universal across all forms of engagement, my personal expertise lies under the athletic umbrella. Therefore, my chief priority is to leverage sports as a vehicle to engage the maximum number of student athletes in a deeply meaningful and impactful experience. Success is not measured solely by wins and losses, but by the extent to which our program serves as a critical tool for developing confident, well-rounded individuals ready for their next steps. Our aim is to ensure that every student who participates leaves with more than just athletic skills—they gain essential life skills, a sense of belonging, and a foundation for lifelong wellness.

Personal Bio
I’m thrilled to be part of the Lincoln and LPS community—a place that has felt like home ever since I first walked through the doors as an 8th grader. After living in town and working at LPS for many years, currently as IT Support at the Hanscom campus, I’m proud to give back to the community that shaped me.
Basketball has always been my biggest passion. I played in high school at LS, and coaching now gives me the chance to help young athletes build their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
When I’m not on the court, you can usually find me playing basketball anyway, hanging out with my son Kobe, or watching just about any sport I can. I’m excited for another great season and can’t wait to see what our team accomplishes!

13 Years of Service
Personal Bio
I have been working at Hanscom Middle for 13 years. I was a tutor for a few years and I have been a Special Education Teacher for the past 7 years. I started coaching the girls' basketball team when I first got to Hanscom in 2012. I also coach the baseball team in the spring. I love sports…especially golf, basketball and snowboarding. Besides sports and education, my other purpose in life is my family. My wife and I have an 8-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. We enjoy doing outdoor activities together!
Coaching Philosophy
As a coach, my goal is to help every athlete grow — not just as a player, but as a person. Our team is built on three core values: respect, perseverance, and hard work.
Respect means we treat teammates, opponents, coaches, referees, and ourselves with kindness and dignity. We listen, we communicate positively, and we support each other on and off the court.
Perseverance means we keep going even when things get tough. We don’t give up after mistakes — we learn from them. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow, and every setback is a chance to get stronger.
Hard work means we give our best effort every day. We show up prepared, we practice with purpose, and we stay focused on improvement. Success doesn’t happen by accident — we earn it through consistency and commitment.
Together, these values create a team culture where every athlete feels included, motivated, and proud of what we accomplish. My mission is to inspire confidence, build character, and help each player reach their full potential — on the court and in life.

First Year of Service
Personal Bio
I have been teaching math in the 8th grade at Lincoln school for 7 years. This is my first year coaching in Lincoln, however, I have coached my kids on their town teams where I live in Framingham. I played basketball in high school as well as cross- country and track. I attended Boston College on a full track scholarship, so I truly understand what it means to be a student-athlete. In addition to coaching basketball, I also coach my daughter's youth lacrosse team in the spring.

1st Year of Service
Personal Bio
I have been teaching math in the 7th grade at Hanscom for 2 years. This is my first as the girls basketball coach, but I coached my brother’s middle school basketball team for three years a few years back. I have played basketball since I was a kid and still play in a league to this day. I have always loved basketball because it's a way to not only stay active but to have fun as well.
Coaching Philosophy
My top priorities are everyone having fun, trying your best, working together as a team, and trusting and respecting their teammates. I have never had a bad game when I was having fun, and I had fun when my teammates treated me with respect, dignity, and trust. Everyone on the team has a role, and if each player tries their best, they will succeed in that role and have fun while doing so!
