Hi! I'm Gwen Blumberg. I've been a part of the Lincoln Public Schools since 2009 when I joined the Lincoln School as a literacy specialist/coach. I then served as the District's Literacy Content Specialist from 2016-2024 before becoming the Lincoln School Librarian in the fall of 2024.

Before coming to Lincoln, I was a classroom teacher (grades 4, 5, 1) an adjunct professor and a student teaching supervisor. Throughout all of my roles, I've always been passionate about connecting kids with books and empowering them to create, consume, and share stories to help them understand themselves and their world. I feel so fortunate to be the Lincoln School librarian and spend my days in our beautiful library surrounded by books and our amazing students. This is truly the BEST job in the entire school!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son-- in our backyard, or on a city adventure, tending my bees, digging in the garden, or playing roller derby... and of course READING!
