    Dear Families,

We are excited to be starting the kindergarten registration process and look forward to meeting the families of our youngest incoming students!

Children must have reached the age of five (5) before October 1, 2024 to enter Kindergarten. The Lincoln Public Schools also enroll employee children who have been approved by the School Committee and Boston resident students through the METCO Program.

We will be inviting incoming families to attend a Welcome to Kindergarten evening for parents and caregivers where a panel of school staff will provide information and answer questions about our school and the kindergarten program. We will also have an Orientation Day when students visit a kindergarten classroom and meet current kindergarten students! Details will be posted on our website and emailed out as soon as the details are finalized!

We ask families whose children are kindergarten eligible to complete the Intent to Enroll form linked here and on our website. The information you provide assists us with planning and the ability to communicate directly with you. If you indicate that your child will or may join us, we will send you updates including informational materials and additional enrollment paperwork including the Kindergarten Transition Report, Health Forms, Transportation information and a Release of Information form so that your child’s school records come to the Lincoln School.

The online registration portal for the 2024-25 school year is not yet active. We will let you know when online registration is open.  Note that students who are currently enrolled at the Lincoln Preschool do not need to register since they are already enrolled in the Lincoln Public Schools.  We do, however, appreciate receiving the Intent to Enroll Form!

We look forward to welcoming your child and working with you to ensure that your child’s first school experience is a happy and successful one!

We ask families whose children are kindergarten eligible to complete this Intent to Enroll form to assist us with planning and to gather contact information so that we can communicate directly with you.

If your child attends the Lincoln Preschool you should complete this form, but you will not need to complete additional registration forms since your child is already enrolled in the Lincoln Public Schools.  New families will receive instructions for the online registration portal.
