Imagine an accessible boardwalk trail through our conservation lands dedicated to authentic learning, observational activities and recreation.

We are in the vision, planning and funding stages for constructing such a wetland trail for our school and community.

The Muster Field Wetland Observation Trail would connect The Lincoln School, near the Smith playground area, to the town Muster Field through the wetland habitat. This trail would be used as an outdoor learning space for our students and community as well as a recreational trail for enjoying the flora and fauna of our wetlands.

The Muster Field Wetland Observation Trail would be community built with volunteers providing the labor to construct the walkways and trail.

Support for the trail by the Lincoln Public Schools and the Lincoln Conservation Commission

The design for this project is supported by grants from two organizations: The Lincoln Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and The Lincoln School Foundation, a parent-volunteer non-profit awarding grants to advance education through innovation in the Lincoln Public Schools
