    Dear K-4 Families,

The 4th grade hosted our Community Meeting this morning, with the theme "Poetry and Identity." A few weeks ago the fourth graders created a read-aloud of Patchwork by Matt de la Peña, illustrated by Corinna Luyken, to share with all K-4 classes. In the introduction, the narrator explains, "It is more of a poem than a picture book, and it shows how you aren't just one thing... that you're able to do and be many things!" As part of the theme, all K-4 students created a paper "quilt" square representing who they are, using pictures, words, or even a short poem. These squares were collected and arranged into 12 panels, which were then shared during the Community Meeting. Several students also shared their own poems, and the Unity in Motion dance group performed. It was a thoughtful and joyful gathering!

To everyone heading to the Parent Prom tomorrow night - have a blast and thank you the PTO!

    Sincerely,

    Sarah

    March 13, 2025

    Dear Families,

We are excited to be preparing for the 2025-26 kindergarten classes and look forward to meeting the families of our youngest incoming students!

Children must have reached the age of five (5) before October 1, 2025 to enter Kindergarten. The Lincoln Public Schools also enroll employee children who have been approved by the School Committee and Boston resident students through the METCO Program.

We ask families whose children are kindergarten eligible to complete the Intent to Enroll form linked here. The information you provide assists us with planning and allows us to communicate directly with you. If you indicate that your child will or may join us, we will send you updates including the Kindergarten Parent Information Night in April, the Kindergarten Orientation Day in June, and when the 2025-2026 registration portal is active.

If your child is currently enrolled at the Lincoln Preschool you do not need to register online since they are already enrolled in the Lincoln Public Schools.  We do, however, appreciate receiving the Intent to Enroll Form!

We look forward to welcoming your child and working with you to ensure that your child’s first school experience is a happy and successful one!

    Sincerely,

    Sarah Collmer
