Minuteman Tech Afterschool Enrichment Programming (Gr. 6&7)

Minuteman Tech offers afterschool exploratory programming for those interested in learning more about the trades. This is a great way to find out more about CTE and explore potential interests.

They currently have open enrollment for a free exploratory program happening in March and April. Priority is given to in-district students, but they are anticipating open spots for out-of-district students like ones in Lincoln.

  • Transportation: Transportation to and from in-district public middle schools provided

Minuteman High School Revolutionized

Minuteman Tech Summer Programs (Gr. 5-8)

Minuteman provides hands-on, enrichment programs around career technical education subjects for students entering grades 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Each one-week session is held either from 8:00 AM-11:00 AM or 11:30 AM-2:30 PM on the weeks of July 6th-10th, July 13th-17th, and July 20th-24th. Students may enroll in as many sessions as they would like.

Lincoln SEPAC Looking for Volunteers

The Lincoln SEPAC is a group of parents and caregivers of students with special needs. We are a state-mandated group organized to liaise between students, their families, and school officials with regard to the district’s special education services.

In partnership with the district, the Lincoln SEPAC helps to foster understanding, respect, and inclusion of all students and families with special needs. We provide a supportive and educational network to empower families, share experiences, and provide the best services and programs for our children.

The Lincoln SEPAC holds monthly meetings and other educational and social events throughout the year.

On Saturday, March 7, the Lincoln School Foundation (LSF https://www.lincolnschoolfoundation.org) will host a special adults-only event, Lincoln Lounge. It is a speak-easy themed event with live music, games, and silent auction fundraiser.

  • Description: A night of live music, games, and drinks to celebrate Lincoln Public Schools and uplift teacher-led innovation.

  • Platinum ($1,000): Includes signature drink naming rights, advertising place cards on food tables, logo on entrance photo backdrop, sponsor table space, features on the LSF website and social media, and acknowledgment in post-event emails.

Association for Middle Level Education Parent Resource

The Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE) has created a new website specifically for families to help understand and embrace the nuanced middle years. So whether your middle schooler is the first you’ve had or the 2nd, or 3rd, etc, this website has great resources to help you and your middle level child navigate these years productively.
