Two Hour Delayed Opening on Tuesday, January 27th

Lincoln Public Schools, including the Lincoln School, the Hanscom School, and central office, will be operating on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, January 27th. All buses will be running their normal routes, but stops will take place two hours later than normally scheduled. We will not be serving breakfast when students arrive, and all after-school activities will take place as normally scheduled.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We have had a wonderful week at the Hanscom School!  As we transition to this new website, I am going to return to one of my past practices of including a video message for our parents and caregivers. I hope that this new Family Update format is working out for you. Please feel free to reach out if you have any suggestions for other information that you would like to see on this page.  

Finally, it looks like we have the potential for a pretty big snowstorm Sunday into Monday.  If school ends up being canceled or delayed you will hear directly from the Superintendent of Schools and the information will also be posted on the main page of the district website. 

Please stay safe and warm this weekend and look forward to seeing everyone back here at school next week.

Menus can always be viewed HERE. This is the best place to view allergy information, see the full menu with all of the offerings and view the menu in other languages. 

 

Lost and Found

Our Lost and Found is growing by the day. If your child has lost a coat, sweatshirt, hat, gloves, mittens, boots OH MY!

Please come check both lost and founds. There is one just inside the main hallway of the primary school and one by the library in the HMS commons.

Winter is here! And so is the winter art club. Grades 5th-8th

This session will be on Thursdays from 3:00-4:00pm starting on January 29th and ending on March 12th. 

We will be making not 1, but 2 paper Mache sculptures this time!

Please sign up at the table in front of the gym.

PreK-4th Grade: 5:00-6:30 PM
5th-8th Grade: 6:30-8:00 PM

Families will enjoy music, dancing, photobooths, light refreshments.

Registration is required
PreK-4th grade student must be accompanied by an adult.
Families with children in multiple grade levels may choose the time slot that works best.

Energy Blaster Event

Event for children in grades 2 and under. We will have two bounce houses, simple arts and crafts, snacks, and a few other activities so kids can run around and have fun. We would love to welcome any Hanscom families who want to join; it is completely free. All they need to do is create a LincFam membership. Membership is free for all Hanscom community members and military families.
