The cost to attend would be covered by the district. If you are a nurse or know of one that may be able to help us out, please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

Grade 8 DC Trip Fundraising Updates

The next fundraiser is another dance for grades 6-8 on January 23, 2026. Parents – we are considering hosting a “Drivers’ Lounge” for parents to get together and mingle while kids are at the dance. We hope this will prevent anyone from feeling like they need to sit in their cars in the parking lot during dances to kill time. Please complete the Driver's Lounge survey and let us know if you are interested.

Bentley After School Activities - Winter Session

Sign Ups Due by Friday, January 23

Please see this link to explore and sign up for our winter session after school Bentley offerings. Our school staff-run activity sign up deadline has already passed but your student can still sign up for our Bentley-run ones that start in February.

We have two new Monday programs, “Future Founders” open to students in grades 5-8 and “Creative Sparks” open to students in grades 1-4.

Future Founders is a weekly program through which students in grades 5-8 work with Bentley University mentors to explore topics in entrepreneurship. Through engaging workshops and fun projects, students learn the ins and outs of building businesses that make a positive impact in the world. In the final sessions, students pitch their businesses in a "Shark Tank"-style environment!

Through the Creative Sparks program, students in grades 1-4 embrace their individuality through artistic expression. Led by Bentley University students with backgrounds in theater, camp, and art, this program provides students with an outlet to build their creativity skills in a fun, structured environment. Weekly sessions are designed to meet the needs, the imaginations, and the interests of the students in the program.

SDGs for You and Me as well as 2+2=5 programs are open to grades 4&5 will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are open to returners as well as any new students who’d like to give them a try. https://sites.google.com/lincnet.org/lincoln4-8afterschool/home. We are also looking to add a Monday Bentley session; details soon to follow.

Grade 8 to 9 Transition: SAVE THE DATE!

Dear 8th Grade Families,

It is hard to believe that our Middle School Teams are already working closely with the Lincoln-Sudbury Regionalized High School Teams to plan transitions for our 8th-grade students!
The Student Services Department at the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Lincoln Public Schools, and Sudbury Public Schools has planned an information session for all parents and guardians of students transitioning to L-S who receive special education services on an IEP.

Please HOLD this upcoming date! This will be a remote event held on:
January 14, 2026 7:00 - 8:30 PM

During this evening session, we will share information on the expected timelines for transition planning, as well as the developmental shifts to expect as students age on from middle school to high school. You will have a chance to hear from each of the school’s student services administration, and you are invited to join a Question & Answer session at the end.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to your school-based team chairs or our SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) if you have any questions, as we work hard to make this process as seamless as possible for students and families.
We hope you can join this virtual information session!
