Please follow the directions below, do not put Hanscom Air Force base in your GPS. It will take you to the wrong gate.

Directions to Hanscom Air Force Base from Route 128 (I 95)

128 North or South to Exit 46B (Route 2A, West Concord,  Hanscom Field)

Continue on 2A for about 1 1/2 miles. Pass the Minuteman Visitor’s Center. When you see signs for the Paul Revere Commemorative Site, you will soon see a sign for Hanscom Air Force Base. Take a right onto the base road. 

Directions to Hanscom Air Force Base from Route 2

Take the exit for 2A, If coming from Route 2, you will soon see a sign for Hanscom Air Force Base. Take a left onto the base road.

 Once you turn onto the base road off 2A, stay in your right lane. At the fork bear left. (do not go to the commercial vehicle lane) then before the rotary you will turn right towards HAFB.  (if you miss this turn and end up in the rotary, take the first exit off the rotary). Then make an immediate right into the parking lot for the Visitors Center. You may park and enter the building and wait in the waiting area for someone to come and sponsor you on. Call the main office to tell them you are in the waiting area at the visitor’s center.  We will come to the gate to sponsor you on base.

You must have a Real Id to access base.  If you do not have a Real ID you must have two forms of a federal id. That can be two of the following; drivers license,  US passport, birth certificate with the seal. You must also have your car registration with you, if you have a registration that is not Massachusetts you will also need proof of insurance. Also, please make sure your vehicle inspection sticker is up to date.  Once you have obtained a pass, we will escort you to the school. 

If you are on a Special Event Pass (EAL), you just need to pull up to the gate, tell them you are on a pass for Hanscom Schools and show your license. Do not use your cell phone on the base when driving. Please use your seatbelt and follow the posted speed limit. Directions to Hanscom Schools from the gate; Once through the gate follow the road to the fork and bear right at the fork.  There will be baseball/softball fields on your left.  On the right, you will see a marquee. Take a right into the school parking lot just after the marquee, across from the pool.  There is limited parking in our parking lot, if no space available, please park on the main road in front of the baseball/softball fields.
