The following state-mandated screenings are conducted each year by the school nurses:

• Hearing Screening: K, 1, 2, 3, and 7
• Vision Screening: K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7
• Postural Screening (Scoliosis): Grades 5-8
• Growth Screening (Height and Weight): 1, 4, 7
• SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) Screening: Grade 7
