Welcome to the Hanscom Primary School web pages. The Hanscom Primary School aims to keep student learning as the core of our vision, supported by creating a caring and respectful school community with a strong home-school partnership. Small class size, teacher assistants, special education tutors and, most importantly, highly qualified and dedicated teachers provide our students with an educational program that fosters learning for all students and challenges them to achieve.

Our school focuses our learning around a yearly school wide theme, which carries over into an annual Curriculum Night for students and parents, as well as professional development for staff and special activities for students. Our school theme for 07-08 will be "Every Voice Counts!" Throughout the year we'll be doing fun math activities that get us all counting and using numbers in interesting ways. At the same time we'll be learning how each and every person is important and can make a difference. In other words, every person counts! Other special offerings at our school include, Junior Great Books, mathematics enrichment, an after school math club, remedial reading and a monthly Community Meeting for students and staff focusing on civics education.
