HMS Student/Parent Handbook
At the beginning of the year, each student receives a copy of the Student/Parent Handbook. We urge that you and your child read this carefully to understand school procedures and expectations. Keep it handy for future reference. Students are required to sign and return a copy of the Falcon Respect Code that indicates their agreement to abide by the school rules and regulations.

Parent Survey
As part of our 2008-09 district review of mathematics materials, we are seeking parent input to assist us in our selection process. Input can be given by filling out an online survey – due by November 20th – and/or attending parent meetings on each campus to give input in person. The parent meeting for the Hanscom campus will take place on

Academic Enrichment Resources
Mathematics
There are many web-based activities that provide engaging mathematics experiences and games for children to use individually, with parents or with siblings or friends. LPS mathematics specialists recommend the following sites as resources for family math activities in all mathematical strands across the K-8 grade span.
