Starting with this year, a single combined set of goals for both the District and the School Committee have been created.

05/06 School Year

The School Committee has approved a set of goals for the District and Superintendent for the 2005/06 school year. The District prepares work plans that describe what steps will be taken to achieve these goals and these work plans are reviewed at School Committee meetings. Status reports for each goal are made at mid-year and again at the end of the school year.

04/05 School Year

The School Committee has approved a set of goals for the District and Superintendent 2004/05 school year at its 6/14/04 meeting, after discussing these goals over the course of several meetings.
Progress against these goals was discussed at School Committee meetings during the year.

At the end of the school year, the following status reports indicated what was accomplished against each of these goals. These results were discussed at a meeting of the School Committee. The status reports are based on the work plans adopted in fall 2004 for each goal.

In the status reports, notations in blue indicate status as of a mid-year review held in February 2005. Notations in green represent cumulative status as of the end of year review held in June 2005.

03/04 School Year
Goals for the School Committee for 03/04

The School Committee has adopted a set of goals for the 2003/04 school year. Progress against these goals will be discussed at a School Committee meeting towards the end of the school year, and discussion of proposed School Committee goals for the next school year will also occur at that time.
