Having taught 8th grade Algebra 1 for nine years in Belmont and then worked part-time for several years while my children were young, I was delighted to return to full-time teaching in 2018 at Hanscom Middle School. Working with our 6th and 7th graders has been fun and rewarding. I value the diversity of their experiences and the unique perspectives that all my students bring to the classroom. During my hiatus from teaching, I worked as a tutor with students from 5th-12th grades and learned a lot about what my students’ school experience looked like when they got home. I believe that all students can make progress in math class and that it’s my job to figure out how to help them succeed.  I am always happy to talk with parents and guardians about their students or our math curriculum.
