    1. Ensure that District is striving to improve teaching and learning through professional development and curriculum development activities
    2. Establish key curriculum development milestones that are understood by the community and establish an approximate timetable for attaining those milestones
    3. Place new emphasis on the school improvement planning process to make it a driving force for continual efforts to improve teaching and learning
    4. Begin a cycle of in-depth reviews of the current state of specific curriculum areas to identify accomplishments, needs, and areas of focus for future work.
