Communications Work Plan

- Results to be achieved
- The goals of developing a communications plan for the SC are for different constituencies (Lincoln, Hanscom and Boston parents, Lincoln and Hanscom broader communities) to have opportunities to be more informed about SC work, to have opportunities to be more connected to the work in which the SC is engaged, and to better understand their opportunities to have input in a constructive way.
- Concrete results expected include:
- Plan to publicize all SC events and notices in an organized and broad-based way that will reach the various identified constituencies
- Work with other community groups to televise SC meetings on local cable tv
- SC bulletin boards at the schools, at sites around Lincoln, on Hanscom AFB and at METCO Inc.
- Monthly SC coffees
- Launch of SC email opt-in list
- Update of website
- Production of documents on role of SC, management of LPS
- Cultivation of relationships with Lincoln Journal, Lincoln Review, Lincoln Independent, Lincoln Local
- Relationship to other SC or District goals
- Communications goals must align with strategic planning
- Communications goals also intersect with District goals of technology plan, and communication district-wide
- Milestone events and dates
