Goals for the Lincoln School Committee for 2003/04

  1. Oversee the operation of the school district and ensure the delivery of the educational program as defined by the FY2004 (current year) budget.

  2. Oversee the achievement of goals set for the Superintendent and assist wherever possible.

  3. Adopt a budget for FY2005 that supports delivery of high quality education to all our students, and communicate the implications of the budget to the community.

  4. Partner with the Superintendent to create a strategic plan for the school district.

  5. Enhance communications between the School Committeee and the community.

  6. Review the METCO program.

  7. Review and establish Policies.

  8. Broaden the collaboration between the School Committee and other Town boards and committees.
