Welcome to the website of the Lincoln Public Schools! I hope that you will visit often to learn about the wonderful learning opportunities and programs we offer our students. It is our goal to make as much information available as we can so that you can learn about our programs, stay current with important conversations and keep abreast of developments throughout the year.
The district is guided by our mission statement ... "The Lincoln Public Schools seeks to unite our communities in challenging and equipping our students to acquire essential skills and knowledge, think creatively and independently, exhibit academic excellence, appreciate and respect diversity, demonstrate creativity, value reflection, work hard and play fair."
We seek to accomplish this mission by focusing on four important goals: Curriclum, Instruction and Assessment; Teacher Excellence and Professional Development; Leadership and School Culture; and Facilities, Operations and Health and Safety. I encourage you to review our goals and workplans to better understand how we are educating our students.
Over the past year some community members requested that we make information easier to access. As a result you will find all of the reports that we present to the School Committee available online several days before each meeting. You can find them on the School Committee page of the website.
Finally I want to ask you to check the website frequently. You will find important information right on the front page - calendar of events, headlines and short reports, announcements and quicklinks.
